How we compare tools

Choose a tool for the job you actually need to do, with the total cost and the evidence in view.

What we compare

We distinguish usage billing, prepaid packs, one-time licences and free tiers. An account requirement is a separate question: no subscription does not mean no account. A free tier does not prove that paid upgrades are available without a subscription. Read the supplier’s terms before buying.

Pricing evidence

Supplier pricing pages are our primary source for costs. Each listing shows its last pricing check. Minimum payments, expiring credit, usage limits and optional paid features can change the real cost. Unknown terms should stay unknown, rather than becoming a reassuring tick. We have not personally tested every listed product.

Review summaries

Our summaries identify the review platform, source link, observation date and sample size. We paraphrase relevant feedback and separate it from our editorial assessment. A company-wide rating is not a benchmark of a specific API or plan. Very small or old samples cannot establish a reliable consensus. We do not turn third-party scores into our own star rating.
